"As of 30.06.2002 12,257 wind turbines (WTs) with a rated power of 9,837.27 MW were installed in Germany. The average installed power per WT therefore is 802.58 kW. In the first half of 2002 alone, 827 WTs with a rated power of 1,086.71 MW were erected in Germany."
