nsp... shit happens, don't take the thread too seriously and don't read every post. I certainly don't, not anymore, it'll fucken drive you nuts.
But, I'm one to talk... lol!
Anyway... I suspect (speculate?), not unlike the rest of us, you are a loner, a contrarian, an independent thinker that found himself participating in "group thought." Yup, SDII is a group-- and they'll always be pressure to conform to the posters who have the greatest writing ability. I'm finding it difficult to imagine anyone basing their investment strategy on posters that could potentially win awards for creative writing...but it certainly makes things interesting.
As for myself? I'm still long in the PM sector.
Why?
Well its earning season...We have some high profile reporting coming up early in the week from both Ford and Harley Davidson. And as the bear claws its way through the markets, we also have the miners reporting too. Q4 2002 should be HUGE compared to Q4 of 2001 with gold being about fifty bucks an ounce higher during this period. It could certainly put these companies back into the spotlight in a BIG way-- so I like the big household names like Agnico-Eagle, Glamis Gold, Goldcorp and Meridian – any producer that’s big, liquid, expensive and unhedged.
Last word... I came back to this thread because of posters like you. FWIW, I actually started to miss the bullshit; in fact some of the bullshit is pretty good. So good, that the contrarian within me bets against what's said on a regular basis. You should do this too, and then tell us about it-- it's what Strictly Drilling is all about.
Take Care, my friend.
