Another self made oligarch........
Within the context of real life heres another aside, I have a fourth grader in Catholic school, we are a split Jewish Catholic family, but thats another story.
The most incredible fact of this experience is that every month since the 2nd grade, one family or two throw a dinner party for the parents of all the kids in the two classes. We have near 100% participation and those who miss a monthly event are truly sorry for it.
In this environment we thrive, because we all appreciate each other. This is not a homogenized group either, our incomes, jobs, experiences are so far ranging as to be unbelievable at times. Yet we come together voluntarily and reinforce our identity as free people who care about each other, without compulsion or guidance by anyone.
Respect is something given, not taken.
To a person, we would say, we dont need no stinking oligarchs or social engineers, despite your appropriations of merit, we can do better, when people like you, just get out of the way.
