Lets not lose the focus of what I said and why. We like to talk about Third World countries and their human rights records. We here in the West are the most progessive in evolving into our presnt position and it is a recent phenomenon, after much dissention to bring it forward. Now think about other places in the world where amentities are no readily available and a mindset that developed over centuries to survive (such as gender division of labor and familial roles). If it took the West so long to evolve under much more favorable conditions, why such impatience for those not so blessed? len
