Ken,

We have

a) numerous former and current weapons inspectors testifying that the Iraqis tried to bribe them with Swiss Bank accounts to look the other way

b) a 180 degree about-face by Scott Rider, very anti-Saddam in 1998, now a chief anti-war activist and apologist for Saddam. Everything Ritter says today is contrary to the opionion of Richard Butler or Rolf Ekeus or any other weapons inspector.

c) Ritter has admitted to taking $400,000 "from an Iraqi businessman" "to make a documentary".

Now, it is pure speculation to wonder what else Ritter has taken, but it is hardly far-fetched under the circumstances, or beyond the normal level of speculation on this board.
