No. But they seem to be better at leveraging the government than the poor to accomplish their purposes via programs like the H-1B Visa program.

No doubt immigration has benefited the country in the past and now. But Immigration = good is too simplistic an argument. No immigration and too much immigration can both be harmful. When I read articles posted here about how short an engineer's career can be due changing technology and the influx of cheap alternatives I think perhaps we issued too many of those H-1Bs for tech workers.
