Perhaps I'm off-base here, as the argument was geared more to Cisco than to Sun and to Unix, but whatever happened to WINDtel?...... nytimes.com Earlier this month, Goldman, Sachs issued a lengthy report titled, "Fear the Penguin," a reference to the Linux mascot. "Linux-on-Intel appears likely to emerge as the dominant platform in corporate data centers," the report predicted.
