There has been no connection whatsoever between the Bush administration and the Enron collapse

I admire such faith... "Kenny Boy" was the largest donor to Bush Junior, and coincidentally is untouchable. The 800 offshore accounts are immune from scrutiny. Tens of billions were lost through outright fraud and the collapse of Anderson and Enron, yet we're told only a couple of the lower-level functionaries are guilty...

It strains credulity, with the most secretive administration in history, with much to be secretive about.

oriented toward avoiding the problem of a single family, for example, owning ALL the railroads

Read a bio like "Theodore Rex", it's clear the warnings were against concentrations among business combines and bankers. He was pissed when JP Morgan expected the people's representative in the WH to agree to Wall Street arrangements -- JP was a fine businessman, but completely missed the point of democracy.

Too much regulation in some areas, but trillions in fraud perpetrated by gov't agencies and wall street alike is due to massive lack of appropriate regulation.

The reason Bush is involved is because this administration is in charge of all branches and there are no more excuses, yet plans being made are too little, too late.

We can hope for the best, but without full disclosure and transparency in gov't its clear the officials in gov't are convinced, unlike TR, that the people of this country work for them, rather than vice-versa.

"Trust but verify" as the saying goes -- you can't legislate integrity, but anytime someone says "trust me, but don't look at any documents", I reach for my revolver...
