Segway suffocated by Luddites. siliconinvestor.com Imagine if the car was being invented now. San Francisco and other cities would ban it. Which many would say would be a good thing [until they actually want to do something]. Do people on skateboards in the USA legally have to get hours of pre-sale training and have to wear crash helmets and be speed limited to walking speed? What about scooters. Why can't cripples enjoy the freedom of movement that Segway offers? How pathetic! Land of the Free and Home of the Brave? What a joke. Land of the "You may not do that" and home of the "Too scared to ride a Segway scooter". I wonder if China will ban the Segway. Is it legal to ride a bicycle in the USA? How many hours training does one legally have to have to ride one? Is there a speed limit for bicycles of jogging speed? What a joke. Mqurice
