Claude; new short interest shows dramatic drop in shorts -24%
4m shares were covered, last month..and since then volume seems to
say even more shorts were squeezed since that report..when the shorts
give up..then she will fall.."puts" are the only way to go with this
sucker as "buy stops" are picked off by the pros..
I revise my buying calls at 62..I'm nutural about that now..in fact
she could be starting down a bumby road and a down trend is "almost"
in place, with out the support that shorts give; AOL just may go
on down. Will buy more JAN98 puts now on any bubbles, but I'm
out of the short term stuff. She may skew the books and make earnings
next quater..but when the reality that she is not "growing" but losing
subscribers..hit's home then AOL is going to get dumped..
as for all the hype of her 8.5M were did that go. <G>

Other reports no longer state 8M but just alude to her as increasing
subs..and that's a lie.

PS. she still has the power to sting short term,
the shorts at 73.5 covered at 65..more shorts came in at 66.5
they got picked off at 68..the shorters with buy stops have lost
their shirt to the pros with the inside scop who momentume buy her up to sell to the ready made market, if the dumb shorts would get out,
the smart ones will have no one to sell to..and this baby will go
on down, as long as the dumb shorts rush her she wont fall, the
brokerage houses are making too much money picking them off..to
let it slide. Dumb shorts can't seem to see the hand they are
playing into is rigged. They are always the ones buying the stock
on it's highs, you don't think for a minute an invester payed
73.5 for this thing do you ? That was the dumb shorts, the ones
outside the loop, the ones who don't understand why she keeps going
up is they keep getting forced into buying her on her highs. <G>
While the insiders short to them.
