1/13/03 116 STIPULATION and ORDER releasing certain assets to pay forattorneys' fees and litigation costs of the deft Elgindyand certain other properties: The US agrees to release thetotal sum of $1,000,000 as set forth below, to counsel fordeft Elgindy for the sole purpose of paying attorneys' feesand litigation costs, including, but not limited to, costsfor expert witnesses and investigators incurred by deftElgindy in this criminal case, including litigation in therelated civil forfeiture case 02-3002 (RJD). Inconsideration of the foregoing, the deft Elgindy agrees notto seek the release of any additional funds to pay forattorneys' fees and litigation costs, including, but notlimited to, costs for expert witnesses and investigatorsincurred by deft Elgindy in this criminal case prior to5/1/03. Thereafter, the deft may seek the release ofadditional funds only in writing and only upon ten days'notice to counsel for the US.
