From my Congressman, the Honorable Peter DeFazio, re Iraq attack:

"Under current circumstances, if terrorists wanted to obtain weapons of mass destruction, there are a multitude of sources, and more plausible sources, than Iraq. Pakistan, Syria, Libya, North Korean, and Iran are just a few countries that come to mind. These countries have a far more extensive history of supporting terrorism. Does the President intend to launch preemptive invasions on these nations as well? If not, are we really any more secure by invading Iraq? Even poorly secured nuclear, chemical and biological facilities in Russia and Eastern Europe pose a more inviting target for terrorists than cooperation with Hussein."
