<<Been reading about that frozen lake up your way that has steam coming out of the middle of it. >> A local company has a retention basin to slow the water from the 6,000 car parking lot into the storm sewer system. They made a nice pond out of it with a rubber liner and stones around it. After a couple of years the middle of the liner surfaced so two guys took a 10' boat and went out to poke a hole in the liner so the "air" could escape. The liner ripped and the wave flipped the boat. Luckly they weren't smoking as it was methane gas.
