don't need another drink -- 120 B imports to the US, while our exports to the whole rest of the world is 80 B. This 80B in exports is going largely to countries already mired down in recession and not on any kind of consumption binge. Our imports will certainly shrink faster, IMO -- lets check the graph 6 months -- 12 months out and I'll buy you guys both drinks if the trade deficit hasn't shrunk by at least 5B.

If I can I am going to find the series going back further ... will post if I find anything useful.
