To me , the "regime change" in Afghanistan is looking absolutely stellar so far compared to what was .<G>

I must agree with Ray , that the US motives in Vietnam were highly questionable , immature , unprepared and bordering upon histerical theories and premise...and support was given to weak fools and weaker generals.
(trained in a Catholic school here in the states I think , and a Catholic , Diem was ?
That was a nice touch in a Buddhist nation.<G>)

It would be nice to think that since then we have grown considerably wiser as a nation .
