It's difficult for me to reply to this with a straight face, but for the sake of the thread I'm suppressing my instinctive response.

Tell you what. Let's wait 24 hours and see what the rest of the world says.

My analysis is that NPR is hopelessly liberal, and inclined to magnify the odds of war because they want to show Bush to be a war monger. I "highly" doubt that the news you report is accurate.
