Hi Endicot,

The rights are like options or warrants. For every 4 shares you own as of the record date, you will be able to purchase another share of DMX at a discount to the market price. Usually the rights are themselves listed and you can sell them if you don't have the cash to buy more shares or don't want to increase your exposure.
