Snowfield to acquire interest in NWT claims

Property Agreement
The TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for expedited filing documentation of
an option agreement dated Nov. 26, 2002, between the company and Fran
Hurcomb whereby the company may acquire a 80-per-cent interest in the
Hurcomb mineral claims, located in the South mining district, Northwest
Territories.
The company will earn it's 80-per-cent interest by making cumulative cash
payments totalling $60,000 to the optionor (an initial $30,000 in the first
year); issuing up to 400,000 common shares of the company (an initial
280,000 shares in the first year); and by expending a cumulative total of
$300,000 on exploration and development on the property ($150,000 work
commitment in the first year).

Smith whereby the company may acquire an 80-per-cent interest in the
Drybones group of mineral claims, located in the South mining district,
Northwest Territories.
The company will earn its 80-per-cent interest by making cumulative cash
payments totalling $400,000 to the optionor over a 31-month period
($125,000 in the first year); issuing up to 2.4 million common shares of
the company over a 39-month period (an initial 600,000 shares in the first
year); and by expending a cumulative total of $2-million on four programs
of exploration and development on the property to be completed by Oct. 31,
2005 ($650,000 work commitment in the first year).

CORE SUBMITTED FOR FURTHER ANALYSIS
Snowfield Development had reported in Stockwatch on Jan. 9, 2003, that an
unlogged portion of core from drill hole ML02-01 was submitted to the CS
Lord Northern Geoscience Centre in Yellowknife, NWT, for examination. Drill
hole ML02-01 is part of the company's drilling program at the Mud Lake area
of the Drybones 4 claim, in the Drybones Bay area of Great Slave Lake,
Northwest Territories. A portion of this core has now been forwarded to,
and been received by, R.L. Barnett Geological Consulting Ltd., of London,
Ont., for electron microprobe analysis. Results and a report on this
analysis are expected in approximately one week.
