set sail about 1 pm and spent a couple hours going across the lake at about .6 kt - we flew the spinnaker but had to hold it open with poles. greg forgot his gas can so we had no motor. the wind picked up to about 9 kts just before 4 pm so we had some good sailing for a half hour before we pulled the boat out. greg did a super job sailing the boat onto the trailer. on both launch and retrieval, we never even got our feet wet. another boat was up there sailing today too. not a common sight on this lake in january... unseasonably warm. all in all it was a very nice afternoon. my face is still hot and pink from the sun... yes mom, i was wearing my sunscreen.<g>
