Back when the Cold War was on, did you ever meet any of General-Walker-John-Bircher types who were SURE that the US gov't was infiltrated with tens of thousands of commies, the President was just about ready to turn control over to the UN, and Federal Reserve was run from Moscow? Well, Ray is the leftwing equivalent. He might even have been one of them and switched sides. Fanaticism is a mental disorder, not a political affiliation.
