1xEV-DO excerpts from "Korea's No. 2 mobile carrier KTF aims for W5.8 trillion this year". koreaherald.co.kr, Jan 21, 2003
<snip>
The company launched its "fimm," or EV-DO, service in the first half of last year, and is preparing to stage a massive marketing for fimm in coming months to spark public interest about its 3G wireless service.
<snip><snip>
KTF has so far secured about 800,000 fimm subscribers, but the EV-DO service is still in the initial stage. Rival SK Telecom launched its EV-DO brand "June" late last year, amid a massive TV, online and newspaper ad campaign.

!!!!!!!!!!
Don't recall seeing 1xEV-DO subs number for KTF previously.
KTF launched DO on May 8, 2002.
Assuming that 800,000 subs is for Dec, that's about 100,000 subs per month.
"fimm" revised to "Fimm" -- acronym for First in mobile multimedia

Have we seen DO numbers for SK Telecom, which launched Jan 28,2002?

Ron
