Sherry,

Re: I don't see 200,000 people

There were at least 300,000 in Washington and another 100,000 in San Francisco.

To put this another way, in Washington there was a solid crowd down the entire Mall, about 2 miles in length:

That is about the same size as the Cambodia demonstration in October, 1970 which I attended and was estimated at the time as 500,000 people. In San Francisco, there was a solid phalanx of people filling Market Street from the Civic Center Plazato the Embarcadero, a distance 10 city blocks or 9,000 feet 1.8 miles).

Re: don't see 200,000 people --who is doing the twisting?

You are. So far I've totaled 400,000. Add to that another 20,000 in Portland and 100,000 elsewhere across the U.S. (to take a conservative approach) and we are well over half a million people on the streets on Saturday.
