I carry a basic tool kit and a first aid kit along with the jumper cables, fire extinguisher, rope, knife and towels. I also keep an extra wallet with my registration papers and a few bucks in case I forget my real wallet.

When I had my Suburban and travelled a lot in the country I also had a tow chain and 2 gallons of water. Of course with a Suburban you can also toss in the kitchen sink and have room.
