Funny, Bill. I did a search. As near as I can tell, every single use of the word "idiot" here in the past week has been from the right, either in the eternal whine about people allegedly calling W an idiot, or calling other people not sufficiently in awe of W idiots. And guess who's the leading user of the term. Working backward:

Carl, like your "Bush is an Idiot," premise, the above is another major "False Premise," #reply-18467841 lb

Lets remember those here that are not happy about the marchers have to put up with "Cheney and his Friends," "Bush the Idiot," "Arrogant Neocons," etc, on a daily basis from some of our fellow posters. #reply-18467822 lb

Come on John. You remember the terminology. "Useful Idiots!" :>) #reply-18464170 lb

But much of what I read about Ritter appears to qualify the man as at least (quoting Lenin’s remark) a useful idiot for he Iraqi government. #reply-18463963

Maybe it's all a CIA plot to make the anti-war movement look like idiots. #reply-18462321

If the Ku Klux Klan organized a pro-war rally, even if a lot of the protesters were just useful idiots who didn't know who was behind it, I somehow think the Post would manage to ask a few tough questions. #reply-18461805

Bush is no idiot: he got over 1200 on his SATs, before recentering and the use of calculators #reply-18449075

The media has always pushed an image of Helm as "The Idiot," but he was on target with some of his Foreign Policy views, and had a good staff. #reply-18448410 lb

I haven't seen him but Imagine how he feels. In spanish we say : ME TOMA POR TONTO? : What does he think , that I am an Idiot?. #reply-18445937

With the trashing that George Bush takes here, how is the LGF cartoon any more disrespectful? Is it OK to call Bush a moron but not ok to call Carter an idiot? #reply-18445589

There is a near-religious certainty that Bush is an extremist and an idiot, and therefore wrong about everything. #reply-1844393

I did leave out 2 or 3 usages where tekboy or JohnM were quoting you, just to avoid double counting. Oddly, 4 out of the 11 remaining uses were from you. Like the "people call Bush a moron" whine, this seems to be a complete joke. The right sure can dish it out, but lord help us if anybody throws bloviating pundit terminology back at 'em. It's just not fair.
