Hi, Hawk After getting das boot at Ken's thread, I'm another conservative seeker of political asylum. Are you accepting refugees? vbg. Surprised that there has been little discussion here about the French statement concerning potential veto of any Security Council action against Iraq. In my view, the French may be in the process of making a tactical mistake as W has repeatedly said that he has independent evidence corroborating Saddam's steps towards getting nukes. Bush has played his cards close to the vest on this point--certainly appears to be in character--and will probably reveal them before the vote. The French will appear like naifs if the evidence is strong. Time will tell.
