Definitional parry - no one said anything about a "rogue government" except you. There are, however, indeed "bad guys", who use positions of influence in gov't and elsewhere to restrict information on their misdeeds, etc.
This is a silly argument.
Somehow you are trying to dismiss possibility of wrongdoing by high gov't officials by saying it means "rogue gov't", and therefore is so huge as to be either unbelievable, or nothing can be done anyway so why try.
There are some points to be made about the lack of representation, but that's structural, and more in the genre of Chomsky.
My point, to both Chomsky and you, is that culpable criminal individuals are avoiding responsibility and hiding in the weeds, and the weeds are growing taller these days, than ever before. There are attempts at investigation in worthy areas, which get sidelined by things such as happened on June 10th. |
