One of the reasons why this debate goes on forever is not just the obvious point that we disagree on the issue but that we disagree on how we see people. I see people as individuals. I don't see how helping out Mary makes up for an abuse commited against Bob even if they have the same skin color. It doesn't lessen the injustice done to Bob in any way and might just compound the total injustice if Mary gets the special bonus at the expense of Albert who is innocent of wrong doing to either Mary or Bob. You and I both see people as people. How about the people who see people as races and decided their actions from that basis? ted
