freudian slip, perhaps -- but you assign blame to Bush, so whatsa diff.

Truth is government is sooo deep into total spending and borrowing, that it is becoming a sizable portion of the economy. Put that together with the reckless credit expansion aided, abetted and wholheartedly encouraged by those in the "govmnt" who don't answer to anyone and you have a mess that no-one has any control over any more.
