Hi Poet,
It has been a long time.
I just heard an hour long radio program, discussing the issue. Both sides were adamant in their beliefs, and neither were trying to convert the other to their point of view.
However in this and other programs I have heard, I have never once heard the word ADOPTION used or discussed. Clearly this is/could be some common ground on which a healthy resoulution could be reached in some cases.

I am not pro abortion nor am I willing to see Woe v. Wade go away. There are times when the health of a women or child would "dictate" this decision.

I really believe that if 1/4 of the energy of each side were focused towards adoption, amazing things could be accomplished.

There are thousands of couples out there today that are ready, willing and able to be good parents. Many are being forced due to age (yes +40/45 yr old) to go over seas for adoptions. The last I heard in Ca, if you wanted a white baby, it was +2 yrs wait and upward of $30K.

Does the Birth mother see a dime of that? I doubt it. Does it cost an Attr. or agency any where near that. Hell no.

Instead of screaming about murder, lets get hear some constructive dialogue, that would encourage people to do what may be better for all involved.
One simple word ADOPTION
