Glad you like Shemekia, Rose..

I actually didn't care for her show that much. She was on autopilot. I'm not huge straight up blues fan, I need some emotion. Her cd's are much better than her live show.

Interestingly, when she broke into a little gospel/soul in her show, her voice just took off to almost Aretha-like levels. But she didn't stay there long.

If you want to hear an amazing voice, try some Kevin Mahogany...check out his version of 'Don't let me be lonely tonight'
