well, first, i was impressed with mgmt and balance sheet ...second, i had talked about foreign growth with a friend that follows the board but rarely posts...i also have significant intl experience and have seen the use and demand for pagers (specifically in far east)...i also believe pagers are not getting replaced...the earnings report, validated above points...fourth, the valuation was ridiculous at that time...fifth, all of what amir said going foward...of course, i reserve right to change my mind

i think if you factor in the opportunity cost (i believe we have seen that before from sellers posting that they have sold at $12, $14, $15, $16, and now $19), early capital gains tax (both the long term rate and the fact that you pay spring 1998 vs spring 1999 even if you dont hold for LT cap gain rate)...plus the reinvestment risk--trying to find another winner...its tough...remember when GEMS was $8-9, DOW was significantly lower then now

i only can see 2 stocks which have the risk return profiles that meet my objective and i am already invested in these two...i just look to increase my position...maybe its just me but steady winners are hard to come by...

but anyway, just sharing my thoughts...to each his or her own
