I don't know if its bad, or its good. But I know that the weapons inspectors are not behind an immediate war, meanwhile we are sending troops to the gulf, and the entire economy is ON HOLD until we get this issue resolved! A better way to play this would have been to WAIT until we got undeniable proof from the weapons inspectors- instead Bush jumps the gun and now the US is backed into a corner, we pretty much have to go to war which is unpopular in the eyes of the world and if we wait, the economy stagnates/declines on the uncertainty and thats the end of the recovery. Bush really played this badly and unless we resolve it in a clean responsible manner (Saddam goes into exile, no war etc) then Bush's reelection is certainly not assured, and there goes the economic agenda.
