the level of denial and ignorance has never been greater this extends from financial markets to political arenas sad, but we have become an exceeding stupid nation continued multiple addictions do that take it from a recovering drug addict denial eventually ruins the human capability to detect truth and reality untreated, stupidity sets in deeply I have a very bright former college roommate in Vermont he has an accounting and business consulting background he believes a war will jumpstart the economy, initiate spending, get people back to work, and revive the labor market I keep telling him that defense spending will not produce a trickle down in capex for jobs, since its levels stop as soon as the product is used (destroyed in bits, rather than fitting into a grand machine) I keep telling him that pressures will amplify on commodities in short supply, in addition to tightening the oil supply lines and shipping lanes he is a liberal democrat but he is my lifelong good friend / jim
