No it doesn't mean exactly that , of course. That is the wonder and richness of the english language that was enriched by such beautiful minds as Shakespear and other poets outside of the narrow confines of the superstitious narrow-minded persecuting church filled with minds like yours.

(You should try a little study of english language sometime.<G>)

Apolgetics is a branch of theology that spends enormous energy trying to defend the crack-pot claims of the Christian fairytale old and new testaments..of all those "miracles" that no-one hardly mentions anymore.
Or all those conflicting passages , and endless horrific descripions of murder and genocide.

Sounds like alot of apologizing to me , yet i myself and others have no trouble each and everyday finding something in the great experience of life to be in awe of .

But what has always held me in awe , is of all this "defending" of something so simple as the majesty of the Universe and life itself. You want a moral code you can find as much morality in the Boy Scout Handbook ( and very practical survival tips as well) than you can get from the fable of Moses or his blood-thirsty zealot brother Joshua.

Apologetics has everything to do with "defense"...very paranoid you "chosen ones" are . Over 60,000 sites concerned with defending "God", as if God really ever needed your defending at all.<G>

I wonder why ?
