Thank You For Saying So Rascal.
We live in interesting times,unfortunately,and the temperature is rising in the cool deserts of the ME, as many of us predicted.
I don’t believe there is anything we can say or do,other than participate in public displays of disapproval,such as the MILLIONS! of concerned objectors demonstrated this past weekend.
I have elected to self impose a ban on posting my thoughts on the FADG and other threads in the interest of maintaining my personal sanity.<GGG> I still read some threads every now and again, and appreciate the many contributions of thought from those I both agree and disagree with.However, a trend has unfolded where those who are pro – peace ( as opposed to calling it anti – war….. for negative effect ), are being labeled with some pretty outlandish titles and verbally regarded and referred to in an ever disturbing and aggressive manner.I don’t need it and don’t believe pro – peace enthusiasts deserve it.
I am a Canadian , and speak only for myself , but America ( which I am mostly very fond of ), and those countries who appear to have an unusual amount of persuasion over its foreign policy, is on the verge of riding a slippery slope into uncharted waters if things continue on its present pathI hope cool heads prevail,but the recent record suggests it will only get hotter as this trend continues.
I would fully back America and her allies in a just war of defence.So far, I see no evidence to suggest such a threat exists to justify this potential war, and the World community at large appears to have a similar position.
We are not alone .<G>
