Network configuration problem. Think I inadvertently screwed up my network settings on my Win98 computer. I tried to reset as I was getting a "can't find the page" error message when accessing my ISP.

I am getting all kinds of network error messages when I boot, it asks for a network user password which it didn't before, and I have a Network Neighborhood icon on my desktop which I can't get rid of as there is no delete showing on the right click.

I do not have or do not want to network two computers (yet). I think I added a local network, but didn't intend to and don't know how to delete it. Can anyone advise the basic network settings for dialup.
