the current administration is bad news for our country. Perhaps Americans are waking up to the fact that though Bush was AWOL for much of his military service GWB flew fighter jets. Like all military service, that takes a level of fortitude the protected have never understood. For those who have fought for it, freedom has always had a flavor the protected never taste. Voluntary and conscripted military service to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States has been vital and essential to your survival. Demeaning the service of any of those who served is an outrage. The Armed Forces of the United States created this nation and enabled the development of our Constitution. Our Armed Forces have successfully defended us against all enemies foreign and domestic. Respect them. Cherish all of them. Your lifestyle and your family's safety depends on them. This is not a time for the weak-minded and the weak-willed. This country was not founded and preserved by cowards unwilling to fight to protect their loved ones, or to defend our Constitution, and our way of life. It was founded by brave men and women willing to fight oppression. Love this country and what it stands for. Support all of those who serve or have served in our Armed Forces, or get the hell out of the way. My family has a stake in our current Armed Forces. We have a USMC Lance Corporal niece headed to Kuwait today. A USAF nephew is in Qatar now and headed to Kuwait next week. Another USAF niece is in flight training. My step-brother, a tank platoon sergeant at Ft Hood, received move out orders yesterday. Besides running your mouth (26 posts in 2 days) and insulting those who have defended America, what is your contribution? Before you get to question any fighter pilot's service...tell us about yours! Ya'll got away with demeaning military service in the 60s and 70s. That will not be allowed again. If you choose to sleep with the enemy, go sleep in his bed. Do not bring him home. unclewest
