Unicom and India are both making Sprint PCS look like Corn Brains, though Sprint is positively intellectual compared with the Globalstar marketing disaster.

You too, huh?

How can you possibly compare the land grab going on in India, with practically nil wireless and wireline penetration, with the US. Sprint has over $60 ARPU, before 1x. Are you suggesting if they could just drop their ARPU down to around $15, like China, then they'd really have the tiger by the tail?

The land grab in the US is wireless data. Virgin territory. That is where you should compare Sprint with their kin. I think it will be a favorable comparison. In fact, if you follow Sprint's progression against SK Mobile's, I think you will find a very positive similarity, with a time lag in the 12-14 month range. Now it is Sprint's job to start closing that gap. The pricing is probably now a leader, and handset selection is starting to lag Korea/Japan by less and less. The content still follows a long lag to SKM, which needs to close too.

I actually am impressed with India. That is kickin!
