True, if that is the case. I have not looked at overall sales of the fast food guys to determine if the trend is down or if their woes are a symptom of over saturation and the cannibalization of each others margins.

Your point on productivity gains is also valid. I point out those gains relative to the examples used in the deflation argument because costs of production have been lowered through automation, supply chain enhancements, etc.
