The rest of the world is stupid and Bush is a hero -- and you believe that (why should this surprise me?) Most of the countries in the world want the "bad old USA to keep an army in the desert" -- and you believe that (why should this surprise me?) The rising backlash the US is feeling around the world is proof that we are strong and in the right and they are weak and foolish -- and you believe that (why should this surprise me?)

I see you are still making good use of your rose colored glasses -- they help you to see the USA as it isn't. You see the USA as a respected world leader with an excellent President. The rest of the world sees an ignorant, bungling President with an itchy trigger finger and a greedy eye on mideast oil. The rest of the world sees a USA bristling with weapons of all kinds, including a mind-boggling array of WMDs, but with little or no regard for international law or the international community -- a USA that talks brazenly about regime change, unilateral invasion of other countries and other forms of "prempetive" use of force. It is little wonder that people outside the US view Bush as a greater threat to the peace than Saddam. Bush had a position of moral authority after 9/11 -- most of this has now been squandered. In a single year, Bush has managed to force people around the world to ask themselves whether or not the USA is becoming a "rogue nation".
