you get that sort of thing with a defacto monopoly.

it's only inflationary as it increases the prices of imported goods. it does not address the fact that overall demand is declining...*too many products chasing too few dollars*

i'm not sure how increased costs for imported goods in a declining or at best stagnant economy makes for an inflation argument ...the import market will have to adjust prices downward to compensate....just to "stay even"

anyway...i agree with his argument...disagree with yours..
