Sorry, I will continue to use childish language. I consider the Holocaust clearly evil, and the Marshall Plan clearly good, for example. Admittedly, few if any are saints, nevertheless, there are limits to what people of conscience will do. Yes, nations can start wars for economic gains, but I do not believe that is the case here. I share a political culture with these people. Unless they are sociopaths, they would not act as aggressors, merely. Without a solid strategic rationale, having to do with peace and security, there would be no movement to war....... |
