Tom, I don't completely agree with your assessment of the situation. I agree with the "get rich" hope though, As the holder of a few thousand shares, I sure hope you are right. I have been an Information Executive since 1979(currently CIO - may I add not too popular on this thread as of late), and although I agree with your opinions about the non-tech opinions, there is no doubt that the lawyers will decide this one, IMHO. Once inside the walls and in front of the judge, the technical side of this debate will take a back seat to the lawyers in the case. On that note I have already heard "reviews" of Mr. Fink's performance, and it definitly wasn't "two thumbs up". Mel stated he held his cards close to his vest, I hope he was correct. My sources did not agree, it was in their opinion he was not prepared. We'll have to see. I left word for him 6 days ago asking if he was on schedule with the judge's order to present claim construction within 60 days. To date, no reply. I have been tempted to stop in and "see" his office, to get a feel for the man, since it is two builings away from my office. I think that time has come! |
