It was a question raised by karen awhile back. I was responding in the context of jewels question why have opted out of the abortion discussion, and noted on reason being banging my head against brick walls of misunderstanding or worse. Among them is karen making out that there is a culpable inconsistency in making exceptions (rape, incest, life of mother), rather than a reasonable accommodation of mitigating concerns......
