"Continue"??? Like the way he has done... NOTHING over the past DECADE to "inflame the region"?

Except

1) trying to reinvade Kuwait in 1994
2) trying to assassinate Bush 41 when he visited Kuwait
3) draining the marshes in south Iraq to starve out the Marsh Arabs, causing mass starvation and an ecological disaster
4) trying to gas the Kurds again, causing the US to set up the northern no-fly zone
5) massing troops on the Syrian border
6) arranging to starve millions of Iraqis (mostly Shi'a) while spending all his money on palaces, mosques, weapons, so he can make good propaganda to inflame the Arab world
7) claiming the Gulf War was a great victory and he is a second Saladin who will reunite the Arabs
8) playing 'cheat and retreat' games with inspections; throwing the inspectors out in 1998; playing innocent now with the new inspections. He has given up $200 billion in oil revenues to play this game; it's reasonable to conclude that it must be important to him.
9) shooting at the US & UK planes in the no-fly zones
10) just btw, killing about 100,000 more Iraqis in his prisons, not to mention the women raped to dishonor their menfolk
11) links to the 1993 WTC attacks and to Ansar-al-Islam now fighting in Iraqi Kurdistan are not yet proven, but there is evidence for both

No wonder the region is so quiet and uninflamed, huh? You're right, he's done nothing
