Most of the Ameritrade "improvements" are good and probably worth the extra buck per trade. They're safe, good executions, good customer service and fast, reliable. I'd change the structure on partial fills. Perhaps have a maximum based as a percentage of dollar value. Now, you can have the situation of being filled on $100 or less of stock and being charged a full commission. Doesn't hurt really money-wise but in thin-traded issues, it hurts your basis. I'd also like to see more option options lol. I'd like to see simultaneous trades, straddles, spreads, etc. Then I wouldn't be trading options elsewhere.
