Ohio has a population of 11.6 million. Here's what 60 minutes II recently reported about Ohio

But since 1999, the number of people getting emergency food aid in Ohio alone has grown from 2 million to 4.5 million. There are a lot of reasons: housing and medical costs are up. Unemployment is up, and many jobs that are available are minimum wage.

That's 39% of all the people in Ohio if 60 minutes II is correct.

BTW, 1 in 12 Ohio homeowners are behind on their mortgages or in the process of being foreclosed.
