I am curious to know what you think of my observations on the dynamics of this argument. I have noticed a similarity: Argument Abortion: Innocent penelopy was gang raped by a marading band of terrorists. She is having he rusty coat hanger, stick or other discusting object force up her vagina, perferatting her uterous resulting in massive bleeding in the garbage strewn back alley of an inner city getto. Some rare (exeptions) that are possibly this tragic have occured in our history. But this is the argument being promoted for the current population of the earth on why abortion should be available to all. Abortion Reality: 1.6 million women in the US are recieving abortions mostly as a matter of convenience. Many of these do result in perferations with massive bleeding. The pro abortion people know this but skirt reality continuing to thrust rusty coat hangers in our faces. Small stakes gambling arguement: We just want to give some fun loving tourists a taste of the old west. Let them walk into an old time saloon. Drop a couple of bucks on the table and watch the wheel spin as the down a glass of the old red eye and shout, yee haaaaw. Small stakes reality: Retired old people hang on a nickle machine all weekend mindlessly pulling the arm of a slot machine out of bordom and to aleviate the depression caused by having no useful purpose. The charter busses line up outside of the factories on Friday afternoon to pick up the workers (and their paychecks, round trip tickets only) and cart them off to the mountains so that they can unload (their pockets), and meet the bus for a return trip when they are empty. Suicide Argument: Someone is suffering from a disease and is helpless to fight the circumstances. They have lost all sense of purpose in life or any hope in regaining usefulness. The government has them plugged in to medical supports that are prolonging their horrible agony. They just want to be allowed to die. Suicide Reality: (prediction) Despondent people by the millions will be encouraged to go to some hospitable clinic where they can recieve support from caring assistants.
