Ted, <For an Asian American, you are being terribly aggressive this morning.> Heh, I dare you to say to a black man, "For an African-American, you are being very docile this morning." <G> I have a friend who is like Tiger Woods....a human UN; however, the dominate ethnic blend is black and Latino. Soooooo......I use either and/or both ethnicities to find ways to dominate in the friendship and I WOULD say the above to him.......actually, I would not say docile but rather suggest that he sit at the back of the bus. LOL Once I asked him why his hair had more kink to it than mine and very quickly regretted it. He went on an rant to end all rants shouting how hard it was for him to find a good barber and that there were ten of my barbers for everyone of his.......I am afraid he wasn't very docile that day. Actually, Tenchusatsu, blacks are not docile, Asians are! I am about to dispute that comment by admitting to some thing I would rather not..from time to time I watch American Idol and I watched it last nite.....I treat it as a musical comedy....that somehow makes it okay for me to watch it occasionally. Some of the performers are pretty lame but there was this one guy......an Asian American....who pointed out from the get-go that he was Asian..like we couldn't tell. <g> Well, he was pretty good and he got to go to Hollywood. He then said he was making the trip to Hollywood for all his Asian brothers and sister. And then, when he came out of the audition, he did some chest bumps with his friends. Its the first aggressive and in your face Asian American I have seen outside of LA's Asian gangs. BTW I think I've asked before....have you seen the Joy Luck Club? ted
