Paul, Libya heading the UN human rights committee is more evidence of an organization in trouble. Can you believe that that all the europeans abstained. So if the UN has failed, does the US go back to intervention with an isolationist perspective. All thru the day i have kept saying that i am feeling that Pat Buchanan isolationism as the world rejects internationalism for what i would call a twisted version of internationalism. We may clean up this mideast mess and then take our marbles off the table. And emotional guys like me might actually be alright with that, at least in the early stages. I am tired of American sacrifice and american support for democracies being labeleled as american imperialism and oil based politics. It is offensive to me and is hurting my feelings. So maybe i pick up the marbles. Take that chirac. Take that West Germany and yes it would we West Germany if it wasnt for the US. Mike
